What’s Your Wine Personality?

We often describe wine as having certain characteristics and personalities that are much like our own.  A Pinot Noir is “mysterious, seductive, and difficult to manage” – so is my friend, Mindy.  A Chardonnay can be “rich and deep with exceptional character” – oh yes, that would describe my friend Julie. If you are smooth, sophisticated and structured, you may be much like a Cabernet Sauvignon-Nikki!  Maybe you know someone that’s a bit “lush and spicy”-hello Jen, aka, Syrah. I have several friends that match a Gewurztraminer’s description of being “sweet, spicy, and a little intense”-you know who you are!  A sparkling wine is “bubbly and brilliant”, know anyone like that? I do. One of my favorite summertime liquid refreshments is Pinot Gris: “complicated, but surprisingly refreshing”. My friend’s would probably agree that Pinot Gris is the wine for me.
